The loss of Mrs. Denice Ruth Burkey a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are people who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of grief.

So sorry for your loss. I still have a pair of crochet chickens on my china cabinet that Denice made. I remember seeing her in the craft store a few years back getting more material to make things. Marilyn Sartin

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Denice. We did not know her real well but knew that she was always a kind and caring person who made beautiful handwork that she shared with others. She raised a wonderful son in John, who we have the privilege of sharing as our son and brother-in-law. May the family always remember how blessed you are to have had a loving mother like Denice

Denice thank you for the years of laughter and care you gave our residents at ISSH. You did make a difference in their lives..There can not be a greater tribute to your life than the care and love you gave to others!
