Lyle Allen Walker, 85, of Nampa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 26, 2017 after fighting a battle with cancer.  
Lyle was born April 17th, 1932 in Brooklyn, Iowa to Everett and Althea Walker.  The family later moved to Bell Gardens, California in 1940.  He then met and married Dolores Richardson in 1950 and they had five children together, Vicki, Eric, Mike, Pamela and Steven.  They were married for 20 years, but later divorced and remained good friends. Lyle married Gracie Walker and they were married for many years before she passed away. He then married Linda Lesley, but later divorced. 
Lyle served in the United States Marine Corps as a sharp shooter for four years.  He then started his career with Union Pacific Railroad in Los Angeles and later transferred to Idaho where he retired after 40 years.  Lyle enjoyed golfing, hunting, rafting, attending church, crossword puzzles, reading the funnies in the newspaper and socializing with family, friends and his pets.  Lyle was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nampa for many years where he made many friends.
Lyle is survived by his children, Vicki West, Pamela Mattle, Steven Walker and Mike Walker; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and several nieces and nephews. 
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Harriett; one son, Eric Walker; one brother, Loyd and one sister Arlita.
Lyle was loved and will be missed by his family, friends and all who had the opportunity to know him.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 20, 2017 at Nampa First United Methodist Church, 2717 12th Ave. Road, Nampa beginning at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise.
