Sylvia Lea Jones, 69, of Caldwell, Idaho, and formerly of Maine, passed away on July 7, 2017 at St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho. 

She was born on March 5, 1948 to Erwin Edward Jones Sr. and Abbie Belle Kimball Jones in Norway, Maine.

Sylvia enjoyed putting puzzles together, going to Bingo, dancing with her sister and crocheting.  She worked as a secretary for the Maine Department of Human Services for many years until her retirement. 

She is survived by her step-son, Clell (Darlene) Hinkle of Caldwell, Idaho; one sister, Margaret Stevens of Maine; one brother, Erwin Edward (Deborah) Jones Jr. of Maine; one sister-in-law, Jane Jones; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Jones and Dean Bracket.

Sylvia battled many different types of cancer, but she was a fighter!

Services will be held in Waterford, Maine at a later date.
