My heart and thoughts are with you Ron and your families. Sharron was such a bright light that we were fortunate enough to be able to know. She and I had great times for the years we were the base "Vampires" with The Red Cross. Her heart was huge with caring actions for those that were in need. Her humor, wit and class will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss, Ron. Sharron and I flew to Basic Training together in January of 1985. We were delayed at on every flight and had to run to catch our last flight to get to Fort Jackson. It took all day and we didn't think we would make it. Every time I saw her after that, we would laugh about our journey and how funny it was still funny after all the years. She was sweet and genuine and it always made my day when I ran into her.
