Rosa Maria Villanueva

Rosa Maria Villanueva passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at the age of 58. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10^th Ave. South, Nampa, ID. A celebration of life will follow the visitation at the LDS Church, 307 E. Andrews Ave., Parma, ID beginning at 2:30 PM. 

Rosa was born November 24, 1961 in Florence, Arizona to Amelia and Melton Villanueva. Rosa was a devoted mother and grandmother. She had 3 beautiful children and 11 grandchildren. She was always helping others with biggest kindest heart. She loved visiting family from Oregon, Washington, and Texas. Family was very important to her. She is one of the toughest women you will ever meet.

Rosa is survived by her mother, Amelia Villanueva; her children, Victor Saldaña, Marcie Schellenberg (daughter-in-law), Fernando Saldaña, Sarrah L. Verbeck (daughter-in-law), and Christina Saldaña; grandchildren, Victor Saldaña, Cecilya Saldaña, Lola Schellenberg, Donavin Saldaña, Jordynn Saldaña, David Saldaña, Cole Verbeck, Tell Jewell, Raul Gonzales, Andy Gonzales, and Matthew Fuqùa. Her siblings, Melton Villanueva, Petra Granado, Esperanza Serna, Graciela Villanueva, Marcos Villanueva, Fred Villanueva, Delia Saldaña, Robert Villanueva, and Elisa Maxfield, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rosa is preceded in death by her father, Melton Villanueva; brothers, Jose Villanueva and Marcos Villanueva; and sister, Virginia Villanueva.
