Robert E Wade

Robert “Gene” E. Wade, 95 of Nampa, passed away on March 6, 2021. Gene was born June 23, 1925 in Turley, Oklahoma to Jim and Dorothy Wade. He was one of four children, all now deceased. Gene served in the Navy from 1943-1946. He married Helen Pethtel on December 16, 1951 and celebrated 69 wonderful years together. They have three children: Ken (Trudee), Dan and Terry. Gene was employed with Associated Foods until his retirement in 1986. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting fishing, and camping. Gene is survived by five grandchildren: Shasta, Megan, Kristy, Kendra and Ruston, and three great grandchildren: Kobe, Tien and Kasey. He was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Laney.
