Robert R Allen

Robert Reid Allen was born to Wendell and Frances Allen on January 28, 1953

Bob graduated from Vallivue High School in 1971. July 5, 1972 he was hired with Idaho Power Company
as a groundsman. Married Judi Swopes January 2, 1977. They were blessed with two sons: Jereb and
Joe. He continued with Idaho Power holding other positions: Apprentice lineman, Lineman and
troubleman. Then they made him Construction Inspector, which he held until he retired April 1, 2020.
Along with his career with Idaho Power, he farmed the family farm nights and week-ends, being so
proud that the farm has been in the Allen name since March of 1901.

Bob is survived by his wife, Judi; children, Jereb (Mara) and Joe (Stacey); mother, Frances and sister,
Linda; grandchildren, Afton, Xander, Greyson and Cody. Two nieces and a nephew and several step
grandchildren.

He passed away January 15 at home with loving family by his side. Preceded in death by his father,
Wendell; brother, Tom and niece, Angela.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday January 26'h at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404
I0th Ave. So. Nampa.
