Richard Dick, 67, of Nampa, passed away on May 28, with his family by his side.

Richard was born on February 6, 1950 in Reedley, CA to C.P. (Chris) and Katherine (Tina) Dick. He grew up in California with his brother and four sisters. His family moved to Kuna when he was in high school. During this time he worked on the family dairy, milking cows, hauling hay and he met the love of his life, Diane.  They were married on May 29, 1971. They had 46 years together raising their three daughters; Becky, Jody and Marianne.

Richard was an electrician and worked in many remote locations including the Grand Canyon. He retired from Idaho Power in 2015 after working there for 16 years. Richard loved the mountains, riding 4-wheelers, fishing, hunting and spending as much time as possible at their place in Clear Creek. His grandkids have fond memories of fishing and shooting with grandpa. He loved big family dinners with all the grandkids. He will be missed for his generosity and big bear hugs. Richard and Diane have treasured their many years of friendship with Glenn and Marsha Henzler.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Diane, his children, Becky (Scott) Thompson, Jody (Bill Stutzman) Dick, Marianne (Brian) Debban, sisters Ruth McGrath, Susanne Redford, Nancy Stutler, grandchildren, Alex (Nikki) Thompson, Tyler Scott, Amber Thompson, Emily Tyson, Tristan Johnston, Joshua Debban, Tiffany Thompson and great grandson Jaxxten.

He was predeceased by his parents Chris and Tina Dick, his brother Chris Dick and sister Carol Birt.
