Peggy Joann Daniels

June 21, 1957 ~ February 13, 2021 (age 63) 63 Years Old

Tribute

To say that Peggy Joann Hogan Daniels of Meridian, ID just sampled life would be a major understatement.  By the time she departed for her heavenly adventure on February 13th 2021 she was a master of her own flavorful compilation of fashion, food, family, faith, and a fancy for fervor that is unmatched.  Even as she made her entrance into the world on Friday June 21st 1957 as the second child to Fredrick Edward Hogan and Phyllis Mae Hogan in Nampa, ID her electric individuality could not be seen as anything but unique.  Over the next 18 years Peggy began compiling her own list of life’s sweets and sours to be enjoyed and avoided while becoming a big sister twice over and completing her formative education at Boise High School class of 75’ before letting the first piece of her heart into the world with the birth of her son Christopher Allen Hogan.  Peggy continued on her tour of the essences this plan has to offer all while raising Chris, becoming acquainted with different characters, and working in vocations from waitressing to banking where she could allow her shining spirit to be of service to others.  With her progression into the zing of the 80s she gifted the world the next gem of her heart with the birth of Heidi Rose Daniels.  Not extremely long after Heidi’s first trip around the sun Peggy surprised the world with her last-born Tonya Marie Daniels.

For the next 25 years she poured all of her love and radiant spirit into a life for her three little hearts while working as a CNA at places like the Idaho State Veterans home, being an assistant for special education in the Boise school district and working her way up to managing a Westco Martinizing drycleaners.  Peggy also started what would be a lifetime of shared adventures and firsts with her loves never letting life’s challenges keep them down.  Around the time that Peggy’s father took his departure to the heavenly banquet Peggy experienced a personal soul searching and rebirth.  This led Peggy into what is believed to be the most peaceful and beloved chapter of her life starting with the addition of her son in law Troy Reed to his love Heidi (Daniels) Reed’s life.  Less then 6 months later Peggy got to soak in the essence of her first grandchild after Tonya Daniels welcomed her shining gift in daughter Imagin Marie Daniels to the growing entourage.  Over the next 5 years Peggy and the lights of her life would build a catalogue of people, places, and mental keepsakes.  This only continued with the brilliant and cuddly addition of Heidi and Troy’s first-born Inari Rose Reed.  With travels, textures, and tastes Peggy’s clan continued to make ever lasting memories all while experiencing them with personalities she would forever see as her nieces, nephews, acquired sons and daughters, along with adopted grandchildren for people always had love and understanding to share even if it was more on the spirited side.

Within the last year and a half Peggy’s life progressed to a much more focused connection between her and the hearts she brought into this element.  With one more strong and spirited addition Peggy got the joy of snuggling a grandson with the birth of Heidi and Troy’s son Andrew James Reed.  In what would unfortunately be Peggy’s final year on this part of the ride the world challenge became an unknown blessing.  Her son Chris had crafted and sacrificed in order to make a place for Peggy along with a support for Tonya and Imagin.   This would become the formative kitchen where Peggy could enjoy the love of her dear children and grandchildren while the world had to hide away in its own little corners.  With heart shattering events extremely early that Saturday morning that were beyond anyone’s control and fight to change Peggy unexpectedly took her leave to join loved ones that had gone before her at the great gathering beyond this one.
