Orville William Ost

Orville William Ost was reunited with his beautiful wife, Sharon, on January 26, 2023. Born in North Dakota on September 3, 1939, his early career consisted of the Army, stationed in Pennsylvania, and logging in Oregon. He later retired from the sprinkler industry as a fitter and inspector. His career took him from Oregon, Washington state, California, and Alaska before retiring in Oregon and finally relocating to Nampa, Idaho in 1997. 

Orville married the love of his life Sharon Louise Irvin 1970 who passed away in 2020 after celebrating 50 years together. He loved fishing, hunting, planting flowers and his small garden, reading, and traveling to North Dakota to see his family. His greatest joy was his wife, family gatherings and grandchildren. 

He is survived by:

Daughter Schellie Irwin, husband Jack, grandson Brandon, (Jamie), great grandchildren Brody, Lily, and Sunny.  Grandson Nickolas (Mariam) and born three days after Orville's passing, his great grandson Noah. 

Daughter Donna Perez, grandson Aaron.

Daughter Betsy Delnista, husband Steve.

Nephews Bill, Gary, Wesley, James, Gerald, Mark, and niece Lois along with their families, all residing in North Dakota. 

He will remain forever in our hearts. 

Graveside service will be held at the Veterans Memorial in Boise, February 24th at 10:00am followed by a gathering at the Irwin's home.
