Olivia M Torres

Olivia Munoz Torres, a loving and faith-filled woman, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023, in Nampa, Idaho. Born on August 19, 1926, in Monte Morelio, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Olivia lived a life dedicated to her family, her faith, and her community.

Olivia was a hardworking and selfless individual who worked as an assembly line worker at Simplot. She was known for her dedication to her job and for the strong work ethic she instilled in her children. In addition to her work, Olivia was passionate about her involvement in the Catholic Church. As a deacon, she played an important role in her church community, and her faith was an integral part of her life.

In her personal life, Olivia was known for her love of cooking and gardening. She enjoyed spending time outside, nurturing her plants, and creating delicious meals for her family and friends. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and she took great pride in the successes of her children and grandchildren.

Olivia is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Jose M. Torres of Nampa, ID, Martin Torres of Caldwell, Idaho, and Jesus Torres of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her daughter, Maria P. Garcia of Nampa, Idaho; and her grandchildren, Alu, Stephanie, Richter, Tyler, Isaac, and many other cherished grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Olivia's faith was at the center of her life, and she was devoted to the Catholic Church. In addition to her role as a deacon, she loved hosting prayer groups in her home, bringing people together in faith and fellowship. She was a shining example of what it means to live a life dedicated to God, and her spiritual presence will continue to be felt in the lives of those she touched.

Throughout her life, Olivia's selflessness and love for others were evident in her actions. She was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word, bringing joy to those around her. Her unwavering commitment to her family, her faith, and her community will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
