Tribute

Nikki Marie Neal was born on March 30, 1989 to Michael John Neal and Marlees Marie Neal in Fremont, California.

Nikki’s family settled down in Nampa, Idaho after living in several states due to her father’s military service. Nikki graduated from Ridgeline High School, in 2009. After graduating high school, Nikki decided to serve her country in the US Army Reserves in 2010 following the footsteps of many of her family members before her. This is when she built her civilian career as a Chef and Dietary Manager, and she dedicated her life to serving the senior living communities in the Treasure Valley.

Nikki was very determined, stubborn at times, athletic, hardworking, funny, and adventurous. She had an immense love for animals and helping others. Within the military and her personal life, she was able to travel around the world and explore different cultures. She was very dedicated to her family and always the life of the party. You would never see her without her hat or her Air Jordans or perhaps even her bottle of rum.

Nikki met Jessica in high school and became best friends for life, later as their friendship evolved so did their love and in 2018, they got married in Newport, Oregon. During the same time, she also reenlisted in the US Army Active duty. During her service in active duty, she was stationed in Washington State and Hawaii. Nikki served her country proudly; she received many decorations and awards for her hard work and dedication and earned her rank of Sergeant.

Nikki was very well loved and anyone that crossed her path was impacted by her kindness and generosity. She was a loyal friend and vibrant soul. Nikki came into this world on her own terms, and she left this world on her own terms. She planned her journey to her next adventure, and she left no stone unturned in her departure.

She is survived by her soulmate and wife, Jessica Neal and their two children Jase and Jasmine, and her parents Michael and Marlees Neal, her sisters Jennifer Neal and Alexis Neal. She is also survived by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and her wife’s family.

A funeral service will be held April 2nd, 2022 at Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m. Flowers can be sent to Alsip & Persons Funeral chapel or in lieu of flowers a donation to the Idaho Humane Society in her name.
