Marsha M Henzler

Marsha Marlene Henzler (Nuss), 70 years of age, passed on Monday, November 22, 2021, in the comfort of her home in Nampa, Idaho.

Marsha was born February 26, 1951, in Sydney, Nebraska to the late Hilmer and Lorna Nuss. She was one of four children. At 9 years of age the family moved to Nampa, Idaho where they joined Zion Lutheran Church. Marsha attended the Nampa School District and graduated from Nampa High School in 1969.  After high school she started her career with Mountain Bell Phone Company. Then was able to work with Glenn and good friends at Dixon paper for 12 years.

It was when she joined Zion Lutheran Church that she met her husband Glenn back in grade school. Glenn and Marsha were married May 26, 1972. In July of 1974 they welcomed their first child Stacy and then second child Shelley in April of 1976. They raised their family with strong faith at Zion Lutheran and where they were heavily involved with Zion Lutheran School.

When Marsha wasn’t working, she loved outdoor activities such as gardening, lawn mowing, boating/fishing, camping, and four wheeling with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her entertaining. There was always an endless supply of food and drinks when she hosted. The grandkid’s always said grandma was “the best cook in the universe”. Marsha loved every part of being a grandma.  She attended all their activities and was their biggest cheerleader. Other hobbies she enjoyed include canning, baking, making fleece tie blankets, and crafting/painting toys for the Zion Lutheran School carnival.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Henzler, son Stacy (Breaen) Henzler, daughter Shelley (Ashly) Minter; grandchildren Savannah and Aiden Henzler; Siblings Carolyn (Larry) Allen, Arley (Colleen) Nuss and several nephews.  Marsha was proceeded in death by her parents (Hilmer and Lorna Nuss), Sister (Sharron Spinali).

We love and miss you Grandma, Savannah and Aiden.
