Mario Solis, 58 years old, of Nampa, Idaho passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at home surrounded with love by his family. Mario was born in Blackfoot, Idaho on January 24th, 1963 to Juan Corpus Solis and Barbara Barajas Solis. Mario is the youngest of 7 siblings. He is survived by his wife, Josefina Diaz Solis, children Crystal Solis, (Hernandez) Bianca Solis, (Gonzaga) Mario Solis JR, and 5 grandchildren Johnny, Elizabeth, Jennavee, Juan Mario, and Isabella. Mario spent his younger years working in the fields doing various jobs and then spent several decades working in insulation with his brother, Juan Solis, and his good friend, Tom Harrop. Mario loved watching his kids in kickboxing, having family bbq's, and sitting around the bonfire playing name that jam. He enjoyed gardening and lounging in the sun. He loved playing pool with his son and the boys. He especially enjoyed being a great role model to his grandchildren. Mario was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and brother-in-law. One in particular would say, he was a great drinking buddy and another would say, he wasn't a brother in law, but a brother. He was a strong hard working individual, who showed his family the qualities of what a great man is. Mario will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandkids, siblings and friends, as he's knocking on heaven's door to join his parents and his sister... SOLIS forever in our hearts and in our blood. We love you Dad.
