Marian Yvonne Stone

Marian Yvonne Stone, 80, of Nampa, Idaho, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2018 in her home. Born August 31, 1937 in Amarillo, Texas to Robert and Myrtle Briles, Yvonne lived in Texas, Kansas and Idaho. Yvonne and her husband, Wayne F. Stone, moved with their family to Nampa in 1972. 

After moving from Kansas to Idaho in 1972, Yvonne first worked for the City of Nampa Inspector’s Office. After becoming a local real estate agent and broker for All American Realty, Yvonne served as a Senior Loan Officer for both Farmers and Merchants Bank of Meridian and the Idaho Independent Bank of Nampa.

Yvonne had three great loves in her life, the Lord Jesus Christ, His Church and her family. Yvonne was a dedicated Christian who loved going to church, listening to gospel music and being with her immediate and extended family. She also enjoyed traveling with Wayne throughout the Great Northwest on their Honda Gold Wing.

Yvonne was married to her husband, Wayne, for forty-eight wonderful years. Together, they had three sons, Robert Dwayne Stone and his wife, Susan, of Pantego, TX; David Alan Stone and Dennis James Stone, both of Nampa. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dorothy McNally of Paradise Valley, AZ and husband, Wayne. She is survived by her sons, her sister, Maxine Horn, and her husband, Lyle, of Surprise, AZ, as well as seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.

The public is welcome to join her family and friends at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Avenue South, Nampa, ID 83651 where the Stone family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM with Yvonne’s home going celebration starting at 11:00AM. Yvonne will be entombed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 15862 Indiana Avenue, Caldwell, ID 83607 (four miles west of Nampa on Karcher Road) following the service.
