Loren Charles Curtis

Loren C. Curtis, 75 years old, passed away on May 8, 2018 of natural causes.

Loren was born on Dec. 12, 1942 in Nampa to Cecil & Valeria Curtis. He graduated from Nampa High in 1961 and worked on the family farm, Kellogg Mills and later worked for local farmers.

Loren enjoyed spending his spare time watching westerns and has read every western book written. In his later years he started Loren’s Wood Working where he created handcrafted wooden treasures that he sold at local farmer’s markets. The last few years he spent having coffee with his friends socializing at local cafes.

Loren is survived by a sister, Donna Weaver (Marv) of Nampa, a nephew and two nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Edwin.

The family would like to thank the staff at Home Sweet Home and Abode Hospice for their care of Loren.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, 76 6th St N., Nampa. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
