Linda Sheryl Cecil

Linda Sheryl Cecil (Mema) passed September 18th 2022 at her home in Nampa.

Linda was born April 28th 1966 in Boise Idaho, to William and Shirley Figgat. Linda grew up on the family farm with her three older siblings. She graduated from Meridian High school and continued her education receiving her Associates degree from Boise State University. 

Linda married the love of her life, Steve, on the 8th of June 1994. They spent their life together raising their three sons Richard, Alex, and Adam. Later claiming Richards best friend, Joshua, as one of her own.

Linda could often be found in the kitchen making large meals to feed anyone who was hungry. "There's plenty, get in here", she would say with a smile. She took great pride in helping others and knowing they were taken care of.

Linda touched many lives especially in the bowling community coaching, bowling on leagues, and working at Meridian Lanes.

Linda had the kindest of hearts. Because of this, being Mema was one of her favorite things. From sick grandkids to the laughter that filled her home, she took great joy in watching them grow. You could often see her cheering them on, out at the fields.

Linda is survived by her husband Steven Cecil, her mother Shirley Figgat, her brothers Randall Figgat and David Figgat, her sister Cindy Dickinson, her sons Richard(Emily) Schoffstall, Alex(Sam) Cecil, Adam(Brittany) Cecil, and Joshua(Brittany) Evans, her grandchildren Luke, Lucy, Brady, Jackson, Madison, Thomas, Lily, Mathew, Vincent, Jasmine, Tucker, and William. 

Linda is preceded in death by her father William Figgat Jr.

Linda had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.
