LaVetta Jean Hagen, 93, of Nampa passed away on December 11, 2019.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Grace Bible Church at 1:00 PM

LaVetta “Jean” Hagen, a longtime resident of Montana, passed away December 11, 2019 peacefully in her home surrounded by her two daughters, two granddaughters, and grandson in law. Jean is preceded in death by her husband Donald Hagen husband of 66 years, her parents, Anna and John Polish, her sisters May Wallace and June Fields. She is survived by her two daughters Donna and Patti, her two sons Gary (daughter in law Cindi) and Jody Hagen. 16 Grandkids, and many, many, great grandchildren! Jean was born in Richey Montana to Grace Wilkes and John Polish. She spent many years working in a variety of stores and was deeply loved by all of her customers, co-workers and managers. She was a faithful and honest worker. She married Donald Hagen in California, after Don returned from Okinawa. They were married 66 years and had four children. Jean was a faithful follower of Christ. Anyone who knew Jean knew she had a fashion style of a movie star, a heart of gold, and was always willing to stop and pray for everyone and their needs. Jean was called GG by many, and the last four years she had the ability to spend every day with some of her great grandchildren who kept her young and spry! She loved to read, loved to spend hours doing word search books, and loved her weekly Dutch Bros coffee. Jean was and is deeply loved, and deeply missed. We rest in the fact we know we will see her again soon and she is with some of those she loves most.
