John Wilson Davis

John W. (Jay) Davis was born Dec. 3rd, 1933 in Tennessee and passed away quietly in his sleep Jan 28th, 2020, at his home in Homedale Idaho.

Jay moved with his parents 3 brothers and 4 sisters, to Idaho in 1954.  He worked, for a time, for Union Pacific Railroad then for 27 years for Idaho Pipe and Concrete. 

Jay married Betty Maxwell and together they raised 6 children.  Frank, Sue, and Kerry Maxwell, Johnny, Doug and Eric Davis.

Jay loved fishing, hunting, and camping.  He also loved attending Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Homedale Idaho for the past 15 years, with his brother and sister in law, Jim and Carolyn Davis.

Jay is survived by 2 brothers, Jim and Sam Davis, 2 sisters, Joyce (Jerry) Phillips and Janice Campbell, 3 sons Frank Maxwell, Johnny and Doug Davis and numerous nieces nephews and grandchildren.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Larry Davis, 2 sisters Rachel Nobel and Helen Palmer, children Kerry and Sue Maxwell and Eric Davis.
