Jerry Richard Liggett Jr.

Jerry passed away at a young age of 57.

Jerry lived life to the fullest and set an example to all of us about Love, Faith and pushing through. Though he had health challenges he did not let that stop him from accomplishing whatever he set his mind to. Over the last several month Jerry had been in and out of the hospital every month he always had a great attitude about life and kept his head up.

Jerry was given the opportunity to go to Omaha Nebraska to UNMC to some of the best Dr’s in the Intestinal Field. He was excited to have a newfound hope without bags hooked to him and the possibility to be able to eat without restrictions. Surgery went great and he had high hopes but the damage to his lungs from COVID in December was to much for his physical body to continue. His spirit was set free of the painful body on the morning of Wednesday March 10, 2021 @ 8:19 am.

His is an inspiration to all who were privileged to have spent anytime with him. He lives on in our hearts and our memories.

He was a Retired Air Force Veteran, a member of the American Legion and a faithful member of Center Point Church in Meridian, ID.

Jerry is remembered and survived by his loving wife of 19 years Annette Liggett of Kuna, ID, his daughters Breanna Liggett of Nampa, ID, Alexis Krepps (Stephen) of Canby, OR, Abigail Frick (Gerry) of Thornville, OH and his 4 wonderful grand children Zander, Ariana, Quinlan of Thornville, OH, Addilynn of Canby, OR. Sister’s Cindy Layne of Baltimore, OH, Dotti Bortzfield of Edmond, OK, Laura Wilson Oklahoma City, OK, Tracy Liggett of Eufaula, OK, and numerous family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Darlene and Jerry Liggett Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 27th, 2021 @ 1:00 pm @ Alsip & Parsons Funeral Chapel 404 10th Ave South Nampa, ID

Please join the family after the service at Cole Christen School 200 E Carlton Ave Meridian, ID. Jerry was all about community so let’s honor him with one last meal together.
