October 21, 1976 ~ October 26, 2021 (age 45) 45 Years Old

Tribute

Jared Gale Lindstrom, 45, of Caldwell, ID, passed away on October 26, 2021, at his home after many years with mitochondrial myopathy. He was born to parents Wanda and Richard Lindstrom on October 21, 1976, in Nampa, Idaho.

Jared graduated from Nampa High School in 1995. He studied Engineering at BSU and worked for SpecTek/Micron his entire career.

Jared was married to his high school sweetheart, Kim Lindstrom (Bower) for 23 years. Their son, Caleb, was the light of his life. Jared was a deeply devoted husband and father who loved the Lord, his family, and his friends.

Jared loved traveling and was always looking for adventure, which took him around the world. He was always up for trying anything at least once. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed archery, shooting, hunting, fly fishing, fly tying, camping, riding ATVs, and photography, and he was always happiest when he was able to do these things with family and friends. He was an amazing teacher and was always excited to share what he knew with others. Priceless memories were made on the side of a mountain, in a river, at the range, riding trails, or taking photos of whatever caught his eye.

Jared loved meeting new people and he made friends everywhere he went. His friends, both here and abroad, were like family and we’re always very dear to him. He was loved and respected by many. His family and friends will remember his fun-loving and joking nature, his generosity, his devotion, his strength, and his work ethic. Jared was an inspiration to many throughout his life, and he was a warrior, even in the face of his illness. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jared on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:30 am, at Crossroads Community Church (4170 E. Amity Ave., Nampa, ID, 83687).  Dress is casual. A meal will directly follow the service, and all are invited to stay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (umdf.org).  The family would like to thank Jared’s wonderful doctors and extended medical staff for their care over the years, which allowed him to keep adventuring as much as his body would allow.
