Ina June- Timmons Collins

Ina passed away Tuesday, March 27th, in Nampa surrounded by her family.  She was the youngest child of Walter and Pearl Timmons, born on June 1st, 1935 in Stockton, Kansas. The family loaded two adults and seven kids into their Model A and moved to Burley in 1936. In 1941 they settled in the Notus area.

Ina lived a full life, her hobbies included gardening and dancing, she loved animals, especially dogs. She had two successful careers, one at Mercy Hospital for twelve years and one as a dairy farmer. Besides milking cows she enjoyed raising calves, chickens and turkeys. She loved watching flowers grow or anything else for that matter.

In 1999 she marred her soulmate Stan Strasbaugh. Together they traveled extensively; north to Alaska, south to Arizona and Mexico, as far east as Moscow and then west to Singapore.

Mom will be remembered as cheerful, loving, nurturing, and devoted to her family.

Ina was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Frank and John, and a sister, Edna. She is survived by her husband, Stan Strasbaugh, three sons; Joe, John and Alvin, three step-children; Kristin, Jenifer and Lonnie, three sisters; Georgia, Neva and Paulene, one brother; George, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Avenue South Nampa, ID 83651.
