Fern Lafferty, 93, of Caldwell, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.
She was born on April 11, 1924 to John and Thelma Weaver in Springfield, Missouri.
As a youngster, she moved from Missouri to California and finally settled in Idaho in 1968 were she resided ever since, working for Buttrey Foods and Grocery. She enjoyed spending time in the hills at the cabin, fishing, riding ATV’s and bowling. Not sure if she loved bowling as much as gossiping with the gals.
Fern is survived by her daughter, Thelma (Ron) Black of Caldwell; three grandsons, Ken (Kris) Wilkerson of Florida, Dave (Katie) Wilkerson of Kansas and Jonthon Black of Caldwell; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen (Bob) Shirtliff of Montana and three nephews and one niece.
