Gary Brennan

September 19, 1985 ~ January 29, 2023 (age 37) 37 Years Old

Tribute

Gary Joe Brennan was born September 19, 1985 in San Angelo,Texas to Renee and Michael Brennan. That same day, there was a huge earthquake in Mexico and Gary liked to joke that his entrance shook the world. January 29th, 2023 the world shook again with a large earthquake in Iran and Gary left the world.

Gary and his family spent their childhood in Texas. At the age of 2, he was in a horrible car accident that nearly amputated his leg. Because of this he would suffer with chronic lifelong medical issues, one being spinal scoliosis. This slowed him down but didn’t stop him.

His family moved to Middleton Idaho in 1989. This is where his alter ego personality began.TK Crazy. He began writing lyrics and with his friend Kyle, would have after school rap concerts .

After high school, Gary married Laura before the two went on the road to be a long haul driver team. He had so much fun doing this but missed his family dearly.

Gary returned home and then was blessed with the birth of his a son Karson in 2012. Karson was diagnosed with autism and Gary embraced his new role. He was so patient and loved him fiercely. After a divorce, he began a relationship with Michalis in 2014. He had his second son, Rhett in 2018. They were given a run for their money. Rhett was here to shake things up with his feisty personality. His love for them was not just seen but felt when seeing them together.

Gary has since become successful with song writing, recording beats in his studio, and preforming on stage. When on stage he preformed his rap music as TK Crazy and he began to he live out his dream. He said “My dream stage is the one I’m on with my family in the crowd.” He was a natural performer and the best story teller, he always knew exactly how to have the whole room laughing with his quick come backs. He would send random text just to raz his family. This could be a random diss or a “why are you so dumb” text. He loved nothing more than to roast them. The family get togethers always included stories of physical altercations with his sisters, and his version of who won, previous pranks that he was proud of, and stories of sisters being over the top in dramatics. It wouldn’t be a family function without someone being roasted by Gary, if not everyone.

Gary loved to shoot his guns, while excitedly planning an zombie apocalypse with the nephews and brothers. Gary loved history and conspiracies ,ninja turtles ,insane clown posed, Dr Pepper, and chick fillet and his food burning hot. He always matched his shoe laces with the fit. Gary loved having all the new electronics, and loved to make beats. Gary worked in HR until leaving to pursue his dream of being on stage, and he was making moves preforming with his childhood idols. He loved his fans and this became a lot of what the family would hear about.

Gary lost his battle with depression and despite all the love and efforts of his friends and family, we couldn’t change the outcome. Our family will forever be impacted by his life and death and are struggling to accept this is Gary’s story to write, and not ours.

He was an inspiration to others and would encourage anyone he could. His place in our family was so impactful, he will be missed beyond comprehension.
