Enid Charlotte “Cindy” Zillig passed away November 18, 2017 at the Karcher Estates.  Cindy was born April 26, 1926 in Oakland, California to Robert Nash and Kathleen Halliday Nash.  She was an accomplished musician and spent many years on the road performing with her various bands. She played the steel guitar, accordion, keyboard and sang beautifully. She did three tours with the USO during the Korean War. She traveled and played for the troops in Japan, South Korea and Hawaii. Cindy eventually made her home in Anchorage, Alaska and spent many years playing in local clubs with her friends, Lou and Tex. This is where she met Art Zillig. They were married for 43 years before his passing in 2015. When Cindy and Art retired they moved to Sun City West, Arizona where they enjoyed playing golf. After 17 years of fun in the sun, they moved to Nampa, Idaho to be closer to family. In 2012, they sold their home and moved to Karcher Estates.  Cindy is survived by her daughters, Kelly Getzen of San Diego, CA, Laura Murphy (Clint) of Nampa; granddaughter, Shaley Madruga of San Diego, CA; grandsons, Chad Murphy of Caldwell, Randy Hoshaw of Nampa and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hunter and Aspen Hoshaw of Nampa; sister-in- law, Dorothy Teel of California and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Art Zillig; her son, and two previous spouses.

Graveside services will be held at Wilder Cemetery in Wilder, Idaho on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
