Eli Anthony Bortolazzo

Eli Anthony Bortolazzo was born in the spring of 1953 in Canada.

He was the eldest of three boys and grew up in Canada before the family moved and settled in La Puente, CA. He attended school and after school, he joined the Air Force as an MP. As an MP, he served all over the world.

While stationed in Tuscon, he married and had his 1st child, a boy named Paul Anthony in 1973. Then moved to Carson, CA and had his 2nd child, a girl named Tina Marie in 1977.

In 1978, he moved with his family and settled in San Luis Obispo, CA. After his service with the Air Force, he worked as a security guard at Diablo Canyon Power Plant in Avila Beach, CA and finally settled into working for Skywest Airlines as a  security agent. After 9/11 his position transitioned into Homeland Security as a TSA Supervisor before retiring and moving to Idaho.

Eli had a soft spot for animals and animals loved him. Eli was very passionate about music, even had his own band in his younger years. Eli was also very passionate about his family. Being a strong Catholic Italian man, family and faith were everything to him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Bortolazzo, his father, Frank Bortolazzo and his son, Paul Anthony Bortolazzo.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Marie Bortolazzo, his girlfriend, Eileen Bjorkman and his brothers Leo and Roy Bortolazzo. His nieces and nephews and so many countless friends.

Eli was a hero, an amazing father, partner,  uncle and friend. He is loved by so many and he will be missed tremendously but remembered so fondly.
