Doug Grubbe

On the afternoon of December 20th, 2019, Doug Grubbe of Nampa passed away at the age of 51.

Doug was born to James and Patricia Grubbe in 1968, and 18 years later he met his bride to be, Tuesday. They went on to raise two boys together, Logan (24) and Nolen (19).

Doug was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying anything Oakland A’s or involving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But the best games to watch were the ones where Logan or Nolen were playing, or the ones he was coaching.

Doug loved movies and music, and was never ashamed to admit that he really enjoyed musicals. He and Nolen would watch them together, and discuss every good and bad point of each together. From this, Nolen developed what has grown into a great love of all things cinema.

Everyone that knew Doug, could always count on his dry sense of humor, and unique perspective on things.

His wife Tuesday, his sons Logan and Nolen, his parents James and Pat, his brother Dave and his sister Pam, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews survive Doug.

A service celebrating the life of Doug will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 12 Noon at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651.  There will be a time of food and fellowship immediately following in the Alsip and Persons Community Room.
