Donna Jean Noble

January 30, 1934 ~ September 4, 2022 (age 88) 88 Years Old

Tribute

Donna, 88, died peacefully Sunday, September 4.  She was born January 30, 1934 to Joseph Cowan and Lola Talbot Cowan in Phoenix, AZ.  She attended Boise High School and later Nampa High School. She met Bill Noble at the Rollerdrome in Nampa – they married in 1950 - settling in Nampa where they started a family with a son and later a daughter.

Mom was a wonderful person. She was fun and funny and she was always ready for a board game, a card game or anything fun. She was a lifelong volunteer in the community, for her children’s’ activities, for her church, RSVP, Warm Hearts and so many others. She loved to read and always had a book open nearby right up until the last few weeks of her life.

Mom and Dad enjoyed so many activities but they loved camping and spent years going to Donnelly. Dad passed in 2018. They were married 68 years.

Mom was an amazing mother. She loved and protected us; set an example of kindness, honesty, responsibility, good manners, and love.

She did not have a mean, unkind bone in her whole body. We loved her dearly. What a blessing it was to be raised by someone who was such a good person.

Survivor include her son Bob (Rhonda), her daughter Katherine (David), grandchildren, Ashley, Erin, Knico, and Adam, and six great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
