David William Riecker

David William Riecker, of Meridian, passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 76. David was born on April 11, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona to Harold J. and Roma M. Riecker.

David served his country with both the US Army and the Air Force. He was promoted to Chief Master Sargent by George H.W. Bush. In time he settled in Meridian, where he called home for many years. He took pride in all he did, including being the owner of a commercial cleaning company. He loved his affiliation with the VFW and the community he was a part of with the Cathedral of the Rockies.

David is survived by his wife, Laura Riecker, children, Carol Riecker, Janet Riecker, Debra Schlechte, and Tim Riecker; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for David at 10:00 am, November 26, 2021 at the Idaho State Veteran Cemetery, 10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd Boise, ID 83714.
