Dana Wilson

Dana Marie Wilson of Middleton Idaho passed from this life on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Dana was born April 15, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas to parents Robert and Patricia Redmond. She was raised in Boise Idaho along with her sister Debbie and two brothers Steve and Jimmy.  Dana attended Bishop Kelly High School and graduated from Capitol High School.

Dana met the love of her life, Kenneth Wilson in Boise Idaho while working as a cocktail waitress at YB's Tavern. They were later married on June 16, 1979. They had two sons, Aaron and Christopher Wilson and raised their family in the community of Middleton, Idaho.

Dana’s exceptional accounting skills were employed by Lyle Pearson Auto Sales, Bob Rice Ford, Agriland, Shopko, Northern Pacific Railroad and ending her career as Senior Accounts Payable at Nunhems, an international Dutch seed company in Parma, Idaho.

Dana touched the lives of everyone she met. Her friends and family meant everything to her.  She was such a caring and thoughtful person and truly cared about people and animals. She had such a kind heart. She was always planning vacations, get-togethers and looking for the next opportune moment to be with each other. She cherished every moment and every memory she made.

We are blessed to have so many fond memories of Dana.  She was always up for an adventure. She loved to travel and enjoyed hiking, glamping, fishing, (yes, she won a trophy for Bass fishing). Some of her other interests included photography, gardening and shopping, especially for her granddaughters at Christmas!  She truly had a passion and a talent for cooking and bringing us together for a fabulous meal with lots of laughs to go around. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert James Redmond, step-father Robert E. Lee, father-in-law Harry Newton Wilson and all of her fur babies.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, sons Aaron and Christopher. Daughter in-laws Jennifer and Amie. Grandchildren, Brylin, Mia and Hailie. Her mother, Patricia Redmond Lee, sister Debra and her husband John Ferreboeuf, brothers Steve and his wife Karen, Jim and his wife Sandy. And numerous nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud.
