Connie spent most of her life in Idaho and moved from Utah to Emmett, Idaho with her parents when she was two years old.  She attended schools in Emmett and graduated in 1959.

She met Tom Mudd and they married in May 1976.  They were together for 42 years he was the love of her life.  They raised 5 children together and enjoyed many vacations, camping trips, and were very involved in their activities.  That continued as the the family grew with their grandchildren and great-grand-children.
