Barbara Ann Anderson

Barbara Anderson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

Barbara was born to Arlantis and Sally Ball on November 9, 1929 in Sacramento, California. She married Harold Anderson on July 13, 1947 in Kemmerer, Wyoming; together they had six children, Russell, Bonnie, Stephen, Richard, Roger, and Susan; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by Russell, Bonnie (LeRoy), Stephen (Deborah), Richard, and Susan (Barry).

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; and a son, Roger.

Barbara was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she made lifelong friends. This wonderful lady had a love for reading the Bible, Christian literature, and listening to Godly music. She instilled this way of life in her children.

In her younger years she enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, and baking. Everyone was able to enjoy the benefit of her baked goods. She particularly loved having her children and grandchildren help her in the kitchen. Her door was always open to family and guests. Harold and Barbara also ran a shelter home for developmentally disabled individuals.

Our sweet mother, grandmother, friend, and sister in Christ will always be remembered in our hearts and souls.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10^th Avenue South from 5:00-7:00PM. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel.
