Arva Lorraine Denny

Arva L. Denny, of Nampa, passed away on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving husband, Harvey, and supportive family members.

Arva was born to Julius and Helen Dyett on October 5th, 1941 in McGill, Nevada.

Arva met Harvey, the love of her life, in 1989. They sealed their love for one another and were married on February 10th, 1993. They have enjoyed 27 beautiful years together doing all the things they loved, big or small. They loved to take drives, always stopping for their favorite ice cream treat. Their years together were full of laughter. Arva and Harvey loved watching old westerns, and doing crossword puzzles. Second to Harvey, fishing was another love of Arva’s life.

Harvey describes his “Old Girl” as being the strongest, toughest, patient, and also the most selfless woman in the world. “Arva made me a better man. She prepared me for the obstacles life has to offer, especially the ones that would come after she passes.”

She will forever be missed by her loving husband, her brothers, sisters, and grandchildren.

Arva is finally reunited with her parents, Hap and Ellen, and her daughter Kelly, in heaven.
