Andrew M. Potter

Born in Nampa, Idaho on September 11, 1945.

Passed away May 27, 2018, in Pocatello, Idaho after being involved in a single-vehicle accident.

Loving son of Alice and James Potter.

Graduated from Nampa High School in 1963.

Graduated from the College of Idaho in 1967 with a degree in Business and Accounting.

Andrew worked for the State of Idaho Endowment Fund as a Senior Financial Specialist for 42 years, retiring in 2013.  He loved sports, especially basketball, baseball, and horse racing. Andrew enjoyed travel and loved tending to his rose and vegetable gardens.

Andrew was especially proud of his two sons Michael and James.
 

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife Sharon, Son Michael and his wife Elizabeth (Damascus, OR), Son James and his partner Carroll (Pocatello, ID), step-daughter Kimberly Wilford and her husband Darren (San Jose, CA). Granddaughters Emma, Delaney, Ellie, Grayce, and step-grandchildren Katelyn and Andrew.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel 404 10th Avenue South, Nampa, ID 83651.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests any donations be made to The Boys Town Nebraska and the Idaho Food Bank.
