William “Bill” Johnsick Jr., 79, of Caldwell, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home. Bill was born on June 12, 1938 to William Sr. and Angeline (Tomaszewski) Johnsick in Toledo, Ohio. He attended his schooling in Toledo at Central High School. After high school, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army as a SP-4. Bill married Betty Lou Baldwin on August 12, 1963 in Glendale, California. Bill and Betty enjoyed gardening, bowling and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; brother, Don (Kathleen) Johnsick of Chino Hills, CA; son, Jim Salls of Pecos, NM and his children; son-in-law, Craig Obara and his children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Laurie Obara.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5 – 7 PM at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10^th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.
