It was a sad moment to hear of Ray's passing. But it also reminded me of all the good times our families shared as we were growing up. We always made it a point to visit Ray and Mildred when we were home to be with Mom. And even though Mom was no longer here in 2016 on my last visit, it wouldn't have been complete without a visit to Ray and Mildred. I will always remember Ray's sense of humor and particularly his wry little smile as on that day he enjoyed sipping his ritual afternoon beverage, informing me that he would soon be 93. After a long wait, Dad and his best friend are now together again. And, I, too, picture them having the time of their afterlife. Altho I won't be there to join in his memorial, he will remain in our hearts forever.

Ray was very good friend of my family and my dad's best friend. I will always remember them laughing together, coming to our house for cards ,fishing,hunting and going on trips.My family and I will greatly miss him but he and my dad and mom will be fishing together. Love you guys

Thank you, I always considered Jim my second dad. he was a great friend to our Dad an our Family!!!.
