Debbie Engel, 71, beloved daughter of Lou Ann and Norman, and the oldest among her dear siblings: Dan, Tom, Jeff, Julie, Chuck, Katie, John, Jim and Jennie, passed away on March 4th. Born in California and raised in Oregon, she later established her home in Vancouver, Washington, where she lovingly raised her five children: Brett, Marcie, Amy, Angie and Nikki, leaving behind a legacy of cherished grandchildren.
A devout Catholic, Debbie’s faith was a guiding force in her life, leading her to serve as a Eucharistic minister. Her unwavering love for God was matched only by her devotion to family, finding joy in every moment spent together. Whether on long walks, tending to her garden, or enjoying her favorite indulgence, chocolate, Debbie embraced life’s simple pleasures.
Her vibrant spirit shone through in her love for singing and dancing, bringing joy to those around her. A deeply loving and kind soul, Debbie touched the lives of many, leaving an enduring imprint on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her warmth and kindness.
