Corinne Olean Moyers of Nampa, Idaho, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. 

Corinne was born January 29, 1921 in Glendive, Montana to Melvin and Olean ( Cook ) McClure.  At the age of 9, she moved to Filer, Idaho and then in 1934, she moved to Boise and graduated from Franklin High School in 1939 and Boise Business University in 1941.  At the age of 20, she took the Federal Entrance Exam in 1941 and moved to Washington DC.  She was a secretary at Civil Service Commission and the Navy Department, Bureau of Yards and Docks, accounting and auditing division. Corinne transferred to the Veterans Administration in Portland, OR in 1944 and then to the Veterans Administration in Boise, Engineering Department in 1946.
Corinne married Arnold W. Moyers on January 29, 1947.  She then went on to work for the IRS from 1960 – 1975.  Corinne was a proud cancer survivor at the age of 40 in 1960.  In 1972, she moved to Nampa where she worked as a publicity chairman for the Nampa Art Guild, secretary for the Nampa Conservatory of the arts and program chairman, president to the Family Scanners of Caldwell and E-dah-how Artists.  Corinne also took oil painting classes at Boise Junior College and began doing pen and ink drawings of old buildings.  In 1987, she researched the history of eighty country schools in Canyon County and made drawings of them and published “Country Schools of Canyon County”  The book is still available in the Nampa Senior Citizens Gift Shop.  She was a member of the Historical Association and the Genealogy Society of Caldwell.  Corinne joined the Daughters of the Revolution in 1991.  In 1999, she moved to Maryland Village in Nampa, where she has resided ever since. 
Corinne is survived by her two children - Bruce Moyers and Bonnie Price Moyers and four grand-children – Margena, Jennifer, Jason, and Danielle, four great grand-children –Kyle, Felisha, Brook, Alexander, R.J., and Roland, two great- great granddaughters, Juliette and Wendy.  She is preceded by her husband, one sister and one brother.
